Dramatic events have agitated the waters of my life.
I was submerged by huge waves and by stormy skies, everything that I had built up until then was destroyed. I could not stay afloat in that ocean of troubled waters but life always surprises you.
Laurie appeared in my life in the right moment.
Her strength, her calm, her experience and most of all her presence were for me a landing place to hold on to. She took me beyond the storm, she worked with me on my fears, on my uncertainties, she gave me the courage to go in my deepest, to find myself, to find my soul and to find a new land.
Thanks to her I started my new life.
One word to describe Laurie, she was and she will always be my solid rock. I will be eternally grateful to her for a lifetime.
My friend Laurie was for me the main land to dock on in a very difficult moment of my life. Her strength, her determination and her presence, literally helped me to cross the stormy sea while the dramatic events were crushing me down. She is and she will always remain my safe haven. I first met Laurie in the summer of 1987. It was then that we shared our love of the mountains.
In 1989 I moved to Florence, Italy from the farmlands of the Catskills. I was frustrated with my life and had an opportunity to start over again, but like they say you take yourself with you wherever you go.
​
Baggage I brought with me was an abandonment issue which had haunted me since childhood. Sometimes the feeling would sneak up from out of nowhere.
​
In the year 2000 Laurie and I reconnected when I was visiting family in the States. Our friendship was reignited and I'm happy to say since then we've been a part of each other's life in one way or another, on both sides of the Atlantic and through the wonders of modern communication.
​
One should understand that Laurie is a communicator on many levels and makes one feel welcome, so I opened up about my abandonment issues. Through Laurie's abilities, tempered with human touch, she revealed to me that I was in a previous life an orphan baby girl in the 1800's who died in an orphanage in Florence Italy. This particular establishment was a place I had passed on numerous occasions as I would go visit my Uncle at a nearby nursing home.

This discovery Laurie had made was during one of her visits to Florence so we were able to go together to this orphanage which to our pleasant surprise had extensive records dating back many years. So Laurie and I did research and we found in the registry a child who was born in the 1800's on my birthday and the child"s place of birth was a place in the country outside of Florence I had frequented quite often at one time.

In the process of working with Laurie a light shined on feelings that had haunted me for years. I still deal with these issues, but now they're manageable, thanks to Laurie.
​
Laurie is a humanist in the highest sense of the word, with the highest concern for people and can connect with any person on any level.

I have been able to evolve in my various relationships, my family and others, by becoming less reactive. My growing understanding of their defenses and mine have made this possible . As a painter, I step back from my work to assess what is needed for completion.

I have been working with Laurie for over 17 years and I can honestly say I wouldn't be where I am today, if it weren't for the effect her work has had on my life.
Laurie's work is very different from many other energy workers, she is realistic in her approach with clients and goes straight to the heart of the matter. There is no talking around the problem but dealing with concrete solutions that can be put into action in one's life. As she clearly mirrors how we view ourselves and shows us our learned patterns that get in the way of us moving through our lives.

The defense structures that we learn are a vital tool in dealing with relationships...parents, partners, children, friends and co-workers. Her work allows you to see the defenses that other people have and their reaction to your defenses and why problems arise the way they do.
Knowledge is power and this knowledge I gained in her workshops will last me a life time. Thank you Laurie for making life so much less complicated by allowing me to let life flow around me, by teaching me not to be in reaction to what is going on, but to have perspective and patience along the way.
